Prickly Pear Health at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025

Prickly Pear Health, led by CEO Iman Clark, is showcasing its AI-powered platform at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 (October 27-29 in San Francisco) as part of the Startup Battlefield. The company targets women aged 30-50, addressing hormonal changes like perimenopause that cause brain fog, mood shifts, and cognitive fatigue often overlooked in traditional care. Its voice-first AI companion analyzes daily voice reflections for language patterns indicating cognitive shifts, integrating data from wearables such as Apple Health, Oura, and Garmin for personalized insights on sleep, heart rate, and activity.
Unlike reactive menopause symptom trackers, Prickly Pear emphasizes proactive early detection to prevent escalation into serious issues like Alzheimer’s. Clark founded the company after experiencing gaps in women’s neurodegenerative care during her U.S. grad school transition from Tunisia and work on gamified dementia tools. A free version launched in May 2025, with premium rollout timed for Mental Health and Menopause Awareness Months; it has secured $350,000 in pre-seed funding amid challenges for women-of-color founders.
The Disrupt appearance aims to highlight women’s brain health innovation, connect with investors, and position it as central to future healthcare
